Adult content sites compared by fee and what you keep

Compared by fee, most adult content sites take 20 percent of what fans pay, according to their public pages. JustForFans is reported at 30 percent, Fanvue at 15 percent in the first month and then 20 percent, and Fansti charges a flat 12 percent. Here is what those numbers mean in real money.

What each cut costs over a year

Here is a hypothetical example. Your fans pay 2,000 USD a month in subscriptions, pay per view and tips. That is 24,000 USD a year.

FeeYou keep per monthYou keep per year
30 percent1,400 USD16,800 USD
20 percent1,600 USD19,200 USD
12 percent1,760 USD21,120 USD

Going from a 20 percent cut to 12 percent keeps 1,920 USD more a year in this example. From 30 percent, it is 4,320 USD more. The math is the same at any income: the lower fee keeps 8 percent more of every fan payment than a 20 percent platform.

What else to compare besides the fee

The fee is the easiest number to compare, but not the only one that matters.

  • Who pays processing. On Fansti the fan pays the processing charge as its own line at checkout, so it does not come out of your share.
  • Payout timing and minimum. Most platforms hold new earnings for a few days against chargebacks. Fansti holds them 7 days, then pays weekly with a 50 USD minimum.
  • Payout methods. Bank transfer is standard. Some creators also want crypto.
  • Discovery. According to its public pages and reports, Fansly has a discovery feed and tags, while OnlyFans fans mostly arrive through your own links.
  • Privacy tools. Handle only pages, geo blocks and watermarks make a real difference if you sell anonymously.
  • Tiers and pricing. Several subscription tiers let fans upgrade instead of leaving.

Watch out for rates that expire

An introductory rate looks good in month one, but your income builds over years. When you compare, use the rate you will pay in month thirteen, not month one. Fansti has no promotional rate that expires. The 12 percent applies from your first sale and stays the same.

Which site fits which creator

  • If your fans already know you from social media and you just want to keep more, a lower fee platform gives you the most for the same work.
  • If you rely on a platform to send you new fans, look at discovery features as well as the fee.
  • If you sell a single niche like feet content, check whether there is a seller subscription on top of the commission.
  • If you manage several creators, look for team seats, roles and split payouts. Fansti includes them for agencies at no extra charge.

Where Fansti stands

Fansti is built around one number: a flat 12 percent on subscriptions, pay per view posts and messages, and tips. Creators pay no monthly fee. You get up to 3 tiers, pay per view from 3 to 200 USD, tips from 5 to 500 USD, weekly payouts by bank or crypto and privacy tools for selling under a handle. The full list is on the Fansti fees page, and the Fansti homepage has the calculator.

How to compare fees with your own numbers

A fair comparison takes a few minutes. Follow these steps with your real income.

  1. Add up what fans paid you last month in subscriptions, pay per view and tips
  2. Multiply that total by the fee of each platform you are thinking about
  3. Subtract the result from the total to get your take home on each one
  4. Multiply by 12 to see the yearly difference
  5. Check who pays processing, because on some platforms it reduces your share and on others the fan pays it

If you would rather not do the math by hand, the calculator does it for you with your current platform already set.

Keep both pages while you test

Many creators do not switch overnight. They open a page on a lower fee platform, mirror their tiers, send new fans there and keep the old page for current fans. After a month or two, the numbers show which page earns more for the same work.
