Why creators choose crypto
Adult creators often run into the same problems with banks: payouts that take days to arrive, transfers from abroad that cost a lot, or questions about where the money comes from. Crypto payouts can help in a few cases.
- You live in a country where international bank transfers are slow or expensive
- You want to receive earnings outside of your main bank account
- You already hold or spend stablecoins
Bank transfers still suit most creators, especially in the US and Europe. Crypto is an option, not a requirement. Our page on OnlyFans crypto compares how platforms handle crypto for creators and fans.
You keep from 1,000 USD
Public fees of each platform, may change.
Why stablecoins and not other coins
Coins like bitcoin can rise or fall a lot in a single day. If your payout lost value between the platform sending it and you spending it, you would lose money for no reason. USDT and USDC are designed to stay close to one US dollar each, so the amount you earned is the amount you get. You can then keep it, spend it or exchange it for local money.
How a crypto payout works on Fansti
- Fans pay for subscriptions, pay per view and tips by card or crypto
- Fansti keeps its flat 12 percent fee, and the fan has already paid the processing charge at checkout
- New earnings are held for 7 days against chargebacks, then become available
- Weekly, or when you request it, your available balance goes out once it reaches 50 USD
- You choose USDT or USDC and the wallet address in your panel
Fansti charges nothing for the payout itself. Your wallet or exchange may have its own costs when you move or exchange the coins. The full rules are on our Fansti payouts page.
A hypothetical payout week
Here is an example. In one week your fans pay 500 USD. After the 12 percent fee you keep 440 USD. Seven days later that 440 USD becomes available, and your weekly payout sends 440 USDC to your wallet. If you had chosen bank transfer, the same 440 USD would go to your bank instead. The fee is the same either way, as the Fansti fees page shows.
Keep your wallet safe
- Use a wallet where only you hold the keys or recovery phrase
- Write the recovery phrase on paper and keep it offline
- Never share the recovery phrase with anyone, including support staff
- Double check the wallet address and the network before saving it, because crypto sent to the wrong address cannot be recovered
- Turn on two step sign in for any exchange you use
Fansti support will never ask for your recovery phrase.
Taxes still apply
Getting paid in crypto does not change the fact that your earnings are income. Keep records of each payout and its value in your local money on the day you received it. Rules differ by country, so talk to a tax adviser where you live.

How to set up a crypto payout
If you have never held crypto before, the setup takes a short time. Go slowly and test small first.
- Choose a wallet app or an exchange account that supports USDT or USDC
- Write down and store the recovery phrase offline
- Copy your receiving address for the coin you chose, and note the network
- Paste the address into the payout settings in your Fansti panel and check every character
- Wait for your first payout, then confirm it arrived before you rely on it
When bank transfer is the better choice
If you need to pay rent or bills in local money every week, a bank transfer may be simpler, because you do not need to exchange anything. Crypto makes most sense when bank transfers are slow, costly or unreliable where you live, or when you already use stablecoins day to day.
