The OnlyFans payout basics

These figures come from OnlyFans public pages and creator reports. They can differ by country and can change, so your own banking settings are the final word.

OnlyFans payout options

According to creator reports, the payout options you see depend on the country where your bank account is.

  • Direct bank transfer. The most common option for US and European creators.
  • International wire. Used in some countries. Banks may charge a fee to receive it, as reported.
  • Other methods in some regions. Options vary, so check your banking page.

OnlyFans does not list crypto as a payout option for creators, as reported. If crypto matters to you, read our page on OnlyFans crypto for the details and an alternative.

How long an OnlyFans payout takes

A payout has two waits. First, the pending period, while new earnings become available. Second, the transfer itself, while the bank moves the money.

Creators report that bank transfers in the US often arrive in 1 to 5 business days after you request them, and international wires can take longer. Put together, money from a fan can take one to two weeks to reach your account.

Here is a hypothetical example. A fan subscribes on a Monday. The earnings become available about 7 days later. You request a payout that day, and the bank posts it 3 business days later. That is roughly ten days from the fan's payment to your bank.

Common reasons for payout delays

Most delays come from account details, not from the platform holding money.

  • Missing or old tax forms.
  • An identity check that is not complete.
  • Bank details that do not match the name on the account.
  • A balance under the minimum.
  • Chargebacks, where a fan disputes a payment with their bank.

If a payout stops, your account settings usually show the reason. Contact the platform's support with your account details.

Tips to get paid faster

  1. Finish your identity check and tax forms on day one, before your first sale.
  2. Use a bank account in your own legal name, so the names match.
  3. Choose a domestic transfer where you can, because it is usually faster than an international wire.
  4. Turn on automatic payouts, so you never forget to request one.
  5. Keep your balance above the minimum near the end of each cycle.
  6. Avoid chargebacks by describing what fans get at each price clearly.
